▶ Given :-
→ Two plots of same perimeter .
→ Side of square = 60 m.
→ Breadth of rectangle = 15 m.
▶ To find :-
→ Which plot have greater area ?
We have,
→ Perimeter of square plot = Perimeter of rectangular plot .
=> 4 × side = 2( l + b ) .
=> 4 × 60 = 2( l + 15 ) .
=> 240 = 2l + 30 .
=> 2l = 240 - 30 .
=> 2l = 210 .
=> l = 210/2 .
•°• l = 105 m.
▶Now,
→ Area of square plot = side² .
= (60)² .
= 3600 m² .
And,
→ Area of rectangular plot = l × b .
= 105 × 15 .
= 1575 m² .
✔✔ Hence, the square plot have greater area by ( 3600 - 1575 ) 2025m² .✅✅

According to the question we know that two poles are of same perimeter one is a square of side is 60 Breadth of rectangle is 15m
Now, perimeter of square plot = perimeter of rectangular plot
=> 4 × 60 = 2( L + B)
=> 240 = 2(L + 15 )
=> 240 = 2L+ 30
=> 2L = 210
=> L = 210 / 2
=> L = 105 m
Then, area of square plot = side * side
=> 60 * 60 = 3600m²
area of rectangular plot = L × B
=> 105 × 15 = 1575m²
Now, the square plot grater area =
Area of sector plot - Area of rectangular plot
=> 3600 - 1575
=> 2025m²
