Find the difference in height:

Difference = 15 - 10 = 5 m

Find the distance between the two poles:

Let the distance be x

a² + b² = c²

x² + 5² = 13²

x²  = 13² - 5²

x²  = 169 - 25

x² = 144

x = √144

x = 12 m

Answer: The distance is 12 m
