steps

1. distance between two poles is 5root3

2.divide the big pole in two parts i.e the 10m and 5m

3. if we join the tops of both the pole we get a slant line

4.join both the poles were we divide the big pole

5.ww get a right angle∆on the top

apply Pythagoras and find the distance
