Hey buddy
Here's your answer

Let the name of the 6m pole be AB and the 11m pole be CD
The distance between the two poles is named PQ

Now, we'll find out a straight point which is straight to AB
CD- AB
=11m - 6m
= 5m
Now, name this distance as CE
Then join E with A( the top of the pole AB) which should be 12m as on ground length

After we get a ∆ AEC
According to Pythagorean theorem,
(AC)² = (CE)² + (AE)²
= 5²+12²
=25+144
=139 = 13²
So the length between their tops is 13m

Hope this help you
