correct question :

two poles of height 6m and 11m stand on a plan ground if the distance between their feet is 12 the distance between their top

given :

two poles of height 6M and 11 stand on a plan ground if the distance between their feet is 12

To find :

the distance between their top

Solution :

In ΔABC

AC = 11 - 6 = 5 m

BC = 12 m

by using Pythagoreus theorem

AB² = 5² + 12²

AB² = 25 + 144

AB² = 169

AB = √169

AB = 13 m

=> 13 m distance between their top
