Two poles A and B of height 9m and 15m stand on a plane ground.

If the horizontal distance between the two poles is 12m, find the distance between the tops.

:

this can form a right triangle we can solve.

one side; the difference between the heights of the poles, 15-9 = 6m

through the pythagores theorem process v get the answer as 8m

because 10^2=x^2+6^2
