two poles of height a and b (b is greater than a) are c metres apart. Prove that the height h in metres of the point of intersection of the lines joining the top of each pole to the foot of the opposite pole is ab/a+b.

hope it helps. We have to prove that the triangles are similar by AA similarity criteria. (90 degree and common angle).
