two poles of heights 15 m and 7.5m stand upright on the ground ,the distance between them being 18 m .find the top of one pole to the top of the other pole

does it mean the distance between their tops
you'll have to consider the top as a right triangle of base 18 and altitude 15-7.5=7.5
then using Pythagoras theorem you get it's hypotenuse that is the distance between the top of the two poles or applying trigonometry you get it's angle and then the hypotenuse
