Two poles stand on the opposite sides of a road, 10 m wide. The
heights of the two poles are 7 m and 9 m respectively. Estimate the
distance between their tops, nearest to the whole number of metres.

1st poles height = 7m. 2 Nd poles height = 9m . So 7 X 9= 49 then 49 - 10 = 39. So “ 39* is the answer.
