The relationship of India with Pakistan and China seems to be complex with many notable political and historical events.

With Pakistan - Pakistan was separated from India during India's independence fight in 1947. There have been many conflicts due to the Kashmir issue. Another major issue is the possession of Junagadh, a state in Gujarat. Due to these conflicts, there has been constant attacks by the Pakistan army on the Indian parliament, military bases etc. However, there have been positive relations also. The new CPEC is the proof that there might be a scope of goodwill in between the countries. Also, Pakistan and India have offered help to each other during natural calamities and natural disasters.

With China - India and China share a great economic relationship. However, the issues start on the political front when the Chinese officials called the Indian border and its infrastructure as provocative. The boundary disputes have been consistently straining the relations in between the two countries. The goodwill starts with the Sino-Indian cooperative relations. Also, the exports and imports are great in between India and China.

The positive point about the relation of Pakistan and India is opening of the border for the purpose of trade.
Another thing is that both the countries showed interest to bring the rail connection between these two countries whereas Kashmir conflict is the main problem between them.
War of 1947, 1965, and 1971 are also major issues between Pakistan and India.
India disapproves China's assistance to Pakistan in projects development like CPEC.
Tibet is also a major issue between India and China. Both countries cooperate on issues like trade and climate change. They are also interested in stable, cooperative Sino-Indian relation.
Hope this will prove helpful.
