During thunderstorm,
When you are outside,
1. You should not stand on a water puddle, even if you are wearing rubber shoes.

2. You should not stand or sit under a big tree.

When you are inside,
1. Avoid using appliances which work on the principle of Radio waves or any other kind of waves like Television.

2. Avoid using water as if thunder strikes a pipe and it cracks and by chance the thunderbolt comes in contact with the water and you are using (in touch with) it, you will get a fatal shock..which may lead to death.
