let the cost price be ₹100
1st radio:
C.P=100rs
profit =12%
So S.P will be 112 rs.
2nd radio :
CP=100
profit =17%
So Sp will be 117 rs.
Now....
Difference in SPs =117-112
= ₹5
when diff. in SPs is ₹5, CP=₹100
'' '' '' '' ''₹1 ,CP=100/5
when diff. in SPs is ₹125,CP=100/5*125
=₹2500
