A rational number is integersin p/q where q is not equal to 0.

m = p / q  = 4/5  = 0.8

n = r / s =  9/2  or 4.5

\sf{sum}  \frac{4}{5}  +  \frac{9}{2}  =  \frac{53}{10}

 \sf{product} =  \frac{36}{10}

 \sf{difference} =  \frac{9}{2}   -  \frac{4}{5} =  \frac{36}{10}

 \sf{division} =   \frac{9}{2}  ÷    \frac{4}{5}  =  \frac{45}{8}  = 5.625
