Radio 1 -

Let CP = 100

Profit%= 12%

Thus Profit = 12/100 * 100 = 12

SP = CP + Profit

SP = 100 + 12 = 112

Radio 2 -

Let CP = 100

Profit% = 17%

Profit = 17/100 * 100 = 17

SP = CP + Profit

SP = 100 + 17 = 117

Difference between the two SP = 117 - 112 = 5

If difference is 5 , then CP = 100

If difference is 1 , then CP = 100/5

If difference is 125 , then CP = 100/5 * 125 = 2500

Hence , CP of each radio = Rs.2500
