The genetic material is exchanged between chromosomes beforeforming of zygote. Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) exchange in the chromosome. This results in formingof variation in the progeny. The abovetwo are major reasons for appearance of variation among the progeny formed by sexual reproduction.
