two regular polygons are such that the ratio between their no. of sides is 1:3and the ratio of the measures of their interior angles is 3:4 .find the no. of sides of each polygon.​

Answer:

number of sides in polygon 1  = x

number of sides in polygon 2 = 3x

angle of polygon 1 = (x-2)(180)/x

angle of polygon 2 = (3x-2)(180)/3x

so,     (x-2)(180)/x  :   (3x-2)(180)/3x     =     3  :  4

         

          4 { (x-2)(180)/x}    =    3 { (3x-2)(180)/3x }
