two resistance 100plus minus 3ohm and 200plus minus 4ohm are connected in series.find the equivalent resistance with error limit​

Given,

R_{1}  = (100 ± 3 ) \: ohm\\ </p><p>R_{2}  = (200 ± 4 )\: ohm

Since the Resistors are in series, Therefore,

R_{eq} = R_{1}  + R_{2}

Remember, errors are always added up when true values are added.

Hence,

 → R_{eq}  = (100 + 200)±(3 + 4) \: ohm

 → R_{eq}  = (100 + 200)±(3 + 4) \: ohm

→ R_{eq}  = (300±7) \: ohm \\
