a. What is the equivalent resistance of the parallel combnation?


b. what is the current through each resistor?

a. Rp = R1R2/R1 + R2

= 62×88/62+88

= 176 ohm

b. I = V/R

I1 = 12/62 , I1 = 0.193 A

I2 = 12/88 , I2 = 0.136A
