Total rp = 2
so ..
1/ Rp = 1 / r1 + 1/ r2
1/ 2 = 1 / r + 1 / r
1/2 = 2/ r
r = 4 ohm ...
in series ..
Rs =9
rs = r1 + r2
9 = 2r
9 / 2 = r
4.5 ohm = r
