Two resistance wires are made of same material and their lengths are equal if the ratio of their cross se tional area is 2:1 , then find the ratio of their resistance.

We know that,

R=K×A1

If R1 and R2 are resistance of two wires and A2 are their areas of cross section then,

R2R1=A1A2

A1A2=211
