two resistor of 6 ohm and 3 ohm are connected in parallel . Four such combinations are connected in series. calculate the equivalent resistance of combination thus formed .

Explanation:

1/R = 1/6 + 1/3 (LCM = 6)

1/R = 1+2/6 = 3/6 = 6/3 = 2

Now four such combinations are connected in series ,

•°• Rs = 2+2+2+2 OR 2×4

= 8 ohm
