Answer:

(1) V= 6V

Req = 1/R1 + 1 /R2 = 1/4 + 1/6 = 5/12 = 12/5 ohm = 2.4 ohm

According to ohms law ,

V = IR

I = V/R

I = 6/2.4

I = 2.5 A

(2)

i)Current through 6 ohm

V = 6 V , R= 6 ohm , I = ?

I = V/R

I = 6/6

I = 1 A

ii) Current through 4 ohm

V = 6V , R = 4 ohm , I = ?

I = V/R

I = 6 /4

I = 1.5 A

Answer:

15 watt

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1 : Using formula 1/re =1/r1+1/r2 re is come out to be 12/5 or 2.4 ohm

Step 2 : Using formula P= V^2 / R

P comes out to be 15 watt
