Two resistors are joined in parallel whose resultant is 6/8 ohm. One of the resistence wire is broken and the effective resistence becomes 2 ohm. Then the resistence in ohm of the wire that got broken was ?

for parallel combination Req=6/8(3/4) ohm,. R1×R2/R1+R2=3/4. here if one wire broke then one resistor not work Then only R2 is so R2= 2 ohm ,. R2×2/2+R2 =3/4 cross multiple , 8R2= 6+3R2 ,. 5R2=6, R2=6/5 ohm
