two resistors each of resistance 1 ohm are to be connected in a circuit containing a 2v battery of negligible internal resistance, calculate the current flowing in circuit when the resistors are connected in series

Answer: 1 amphere

Explanation: Since they are connected in series

R = 1+1= 2ohm

V = 2 v

V= IR where i is current

I = V/R

I = 2/2 =1 amphere
