Given that R1 is 125 ohm greater than R2.
thus R1 = R2 + 125
total resistance = 1375 ohm
⇒ R1 +R2 = 1375
⇒ R2 +125 +R2 = 1375
⇒ 2 R2 = 1375-125 = 1250
⇒ R2 = 1250/2 = 625 ohm
R1 = R2 + 125 = 325 +125 = 750 ohm
R1 = 625 ohm and R2 = 750 ohm
