total resistance=1000+200

=1200ohm

V=12

So,

I=V/R

I=12/1200

I=1/100

I=0.01A

V across the 200 ohm resistance

=>V=IR

=>V=0.01×200

=>V=1/100×200

=>V=1×2

=>V=2
