Two resistors of 3 ohm and 6ohm are connected in parallel this combination is connected in series with 8ohm resistor and the cell of emf 24volts and internal resistance r. The current flowing in 3ohm resistor is 0.8A. Calculate the current in 6ohm resistance, internal resistance of the battery and the terminal potential difference of battery

Answer:

According to the question the equivalent resistance of 3 ohm and 6 ohm resistance which kept in parallel is 2 ohm. So the current flow through the circuit is I=5/(3+2)=1A.
