Two resistors of 4 Ω and 6 Ω are connected in parallel. If the total current is 30A. Find the current through 4 Ω resistor.

total resistance = 2.4 ohm

by ohms law,

V= IR => V = 30*2.4 = > V = 72 v

now again by ohms law,

V= IR => 72 = I*4 = > 72 /4 = I => I = 18 A
