V = IR
P = I^2 * R
V = 120 V
R = 6 + 9 = 15 ohms
I in the circuit
= V/R
= 120/15
= 8 Amp.
Power consumed by 6 ohm resistor
= I^2 * R
= (8)^2 * 6
= 64 * 6
= 384 W
So the answer is option (A) 384 W
P = I^2 * R
V = 120 V
R = 6 + 9 = 15 ohms
I in the circuit
= V/R
= 120/15
= 8 Amp.
Power consumed by 6 ohm resistor
= I^2 * R
= (8)^2 * 6
= 64 * 6
= 384 W
So the answer is option (A) 384 W
