Two resistors of resistance 10 ohm and 20 ohm are connected in parallel.A battery supplies 6A of current to the combination,calculate the current in each resistor.

Answer 1

Req= 20×10/20+10

=20/3 ohm

V = IR

V=6×20/3

V=40 volt

I in 10 = 40/10= 4A

I in 20 = 40/20= 2A
