two resistors of resistance 6 ohm and 4 ohm are connected in parallel to a cell to draw current 0.5 Ampere from the cell calculate the current in each resistor

R1 = 4ohm , R2 = 6ohm

I = 0.5A

they ae connected in parallel,

Rp= R1*R2/R1+R2  =  4*6/4+6  =  24/10 = 2.4ohm

V=IR = 0.5*2.4 = 1.2V

Current in 4ohm = V/R1 = 1.2/4 = 0.3A

Current in 6ohm = V/R2 = 1.2/6 = 0.2A
