Two resistors one is 12 ohm and other is 24 ohm are connected in parallel.The combination is connected in series with a22 ohm resistor and 12v battery. Find the current in 24 ohm resistor

you got two resistors in parallel so first we have to find the equivalent resistance in it

and the formula is 1/Req = 1/r1+1/R2...

so on , after that it will become in series combination and it will have the resistance of 3 ohm

now by the series formula which is

Rn= r1+ R2

then you will get 25 ohm .

but according to your question . we have to find the 24 ohm . how much current is flowing in it . so by the formula I=v/r

12/3= 4 ohm

the answer should be 4 ohm
