two resistors with resistances 5 ohms and 10 ohms.are connectd to battery of emf 6v so as to obtain (1) minimum current flowing (2) maximum current flowing (a) how will you connect the resistances in each case? (B) calculate the strength of the total current in the circuit in the two cases

1- when resistance are connected in series
Then total resistance = 5+10= 15 ohms
Then , V= IR ,[ 6 = current * 15
------------------------------------------
Total current = 0.4 ampere
2.when resistance are connected in parallel
Then total resistance = 1/5+1/10= 3/10
Then , V= IR ,[ 6 = current * 3/10 ]
------------------------------------------
Total current = 20 amperes
For minimum current -- series ,
For maximum current -- parallel
Then total resistance = 5+10= 15 ohms
Then , V= IR ,[ 6 = current * 15
------------------------------------------
Total current = 0.4 ampere
