Two rocks A and B of masses 100kg and 20kg respectively are setting at an edge of a cliff. Which rock has higher potential energy? When the rock are made to fall on the ground? Give reason

Potential energy is the property of a body by virtue of it's position, and we calculate potential energy by P= mgh

where m=mass, g= acceleration due to gravity, h= height

since, the rocks are at the same height, and gravity will produce same acceleration on both the rocks, the one with higher mass will have higher potential energy. (100*g*h) as compared to the other (20*g*h)
