Two rods of the same length and areas of cross-section A₁ and A₂ have their ends at the same temperature. K₁ and K₂ are the thremal conductivities of the two rods. The rate of flow of heat is same in both rods if(a) \frac{A_{1}}{A_{2}}=\frac{K_{1}}{K_{2}}(b) \frac{A_{1}}{A_{2}}=\frac{K_{2}}{K_{1}}(c) A₁A₂ = K₁K₂ (d) A_{1}}{K^{2}_{2}=A_{2}K^{2}_{2}

area of cross section is directly proportional to temperature so so a1 by a2 is equal to k 1 by K2
