vertical wall as shown in lig, the upper and lower rollers are respectively
200 N and 250 N in weight Assuming smooth surfaces, find the
reactions induced at the points of support A. B. C and D.

For lower roller, the equations will be:

For Fx= 0, we have

Rw = R1 cos15° +Rp2 sin15°

For Fy=0, we have

Rp2= mg1 + R1 sin15°

Putting the value of weight of roller, we have:

Rp2 = 250 + R1 sin15°

For upper roller, the equations will be:

for Fx =0, we have:

R2 cos15° = Rp2 sin15°

For Fy=0, we have:

Rp2 cos15° + R2 sin15° = mg2

Putting the value of weight of upper roller, we have:

Rp2 cos15° + R2 sin15° = 200
