Two rooms of floor sizes 5 m by 3 m and 6 m by 5 m were to be tiled with square tiles of side 50 cm. How many tiles will be needed in all?​

Answer:

Area of floor=n(area of tile)

5*3=n(.5*.5)

15*100/25=n

n=60

Area of floor=n(area of tile)

5*6=n(.5*.5)

30*100/25=n

n=120

So total tiles=120+60=180
