Correct Question:

Two ropes 16 m and 20 m long respectively are to be cut into small pieces of equal

lengths. What will be the maximum length of each piece?

To find :

What will be the maximum length of each piece?

Solution:

See the 16 m have the multiple of = 4

And

20 have the multiple of = 2

\implies\sf{2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2 = 16m}

\implies\sf{2 \times 2 \times 5 = 20m}

\implies\sf{4 \times 4 = 16m}

\implies\sf{4 \times 5 = 20m}

The maximum length is 4m

Hence, 4m is the correct answer .
