two runners ram and shyam in a 144m start from the same place but one runner gives the other a little advantage, the first runner ram starts right away and runs at a constant velocity of 8m/s the second runner , shyam waits two seconds and then runs at a velocity of 9m/s . How much is the separation between them when the race is about to finish?

Answer:

0m(no separation)

Explanation:

time taken by ram =  144/8 = 18 sec

time taken by shyam = 144/9 + 2 = 16+2 = 18 sec

Hence they will reach at the same time.

(I have given a short answer, u just understand it and write elaborately if you want it for any hw or anything)
