let distance= x km
speed of 1st scooter= 15 km/h
speed of 2nd scooter= 16km/h
so time taken by 1st scooter to cover x km = x/15
by 2nd scooter to cover x km = x/16
now one take 16 min longer means time difference is 16 min or 16/60 hours
x/15 - x/16 = 16/60 or 4/15
16x-15x/16*15 = 4/15
solve above equation and you will get x= 64 km.
hope this will help
