Answer:

Two sets are said to be disjoint if they have no element in common. Equivalently, disjoint sets are setswhose intersection is the empty set. For example, {1, 2, 3} and {4, 5, 6} aredisjoint sets,( as they have no element in common) while {1, 2, 3} and {3, 4, 5} are not. (as the element 3 is in common).

Answer:

If two or more sets doesn't have any common elements then they are called as disjoint sets.

Ex:

A={1,2,3}

B={4,5}

C={7,11}

Here there are no common elements. So, these sets are called as disjoint sets.
