hii!!

here's ur answer...

given :-

length of the 1st sheet = 14m

breadth of the 1st sheet = 4.5m

area = l × b

= 14 × 4.5

= 63m²

length of the side of 2nd sheet = 12.5m

area = s × s ( as it's square shaped )

= 12.5 × 12.5

= 156.25m²

square sheet have more area so it's larger.

by = 156.25 - 63

= 93.25m²

hope this helps..!!

Hi there !!
Here's your answer :

Dimensions of the rectangular sheet of plywood
Length = 14m
Breadth = 4.5 m
Area = length × breadth
= 14m × 4.5
Area = 63m²

Length of the side of the square sheet of plywood
12.5m
Area of square = side × side = side²
area = (12.5m)²
area = 156.25m²

It can be clearly seen that the area of the sheet is more than that of the rectangular sheet.

Difference in areas = 156.25m² - 63m²
= 93.25m²

Thus ,
*The area of square sheet is greater than the rectangular sheet by 93.25m²*
