two ships leaves their bases 725 km apart. they travel towards each other at speed equal to 30 km/hr and 35 km/hr respectively. In how many hours will they be 75 km apart?

Since they travel towards each other, their speed = 30 + 35

                                                                                    = 65 km/hr

Given, Total Distance traveled = 725 - 75

                                                   = 650


Time = Distance/speed

        = 650/65

        = 10 hr.
