two shops had sale offers on an article which previously cost $69. One shop had "⅓ off" and the other had "70% of old price". Which price is lower?

Cost=$69

one shop offers 1/3 off of 69$

which is 1/3*69

=$23

second shop offers 70% off

which is 69*70/100

=$48.3

Therefore, $(23<48.3)

Ans. =$ 48.3

so, second shop is sell lower price
