Two minute magnets of equivalent dipole moment M are affixed at perpendicular at their center (figure). The magnitude / size of the magnetice field at a separation d from the center on the bisector of the right angle will be:

M = √ M^2 + M^2 = M √2

Magnitude = B = μo / 4π x 2 √2 M / d^3
