Two side of a parallelogram are in th ratio 3:4.If its perimeter is 42cm. find the length of its sides.

We know that opposite sides of parallelogram are equal,
Therefore the sides are 3x,4x,3x,4x.
given that
 perimeter of parallelogram=42cm.
i.e.3x+4x+3x+4x=42
     14x=42
         x=42/14
           x=3
s0,sides are 9 cm , 9cm, 12cm , 12cm

=) 42/2 = (L + B )
=)21 = (L +B )
=) L = 21 - B
=) L= 21 - 2
