area of parallelogram=25×10=250
so altitude corresponding to the other side=250÷20=12.5

Answer:

Altitude \: of \: corresponding \:side (H)\\=12.5\:cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Dimensions of a parallelogram:

Let one side (a) = 20 cm

corresponding altitude = H cm

Second side (b) = 25 cm

it's corresponding side (h)=10 cm,

Area \: of \: the \: parallelogram \\= base \times corresponding \: altitude

 Here ,\\a \times H = b \times h

\implies 20 \times H = 25 \times 10

\implies H =\frac{25 \times 10}{20}

\implies H = \frac{25}{2}

\implies H = 12.5 \: cm

Therefore,

Altitude \: of \: corresponding \:side (H)\\=12.5\:cm
