Two sides of a parallelogram are in the ratio 1 : 3. If its perimeter is 32 cm, find the lengths of its sides.​

Length of the sides = 4cms and 12cms

perimeter = 2(l+b)

32cms = 2(l+b)

= 32 ÷ 2 = l+b

= 16 = l+b

= 16 = 1:3= 1x + 3x

= 16=4x

= x = 4cm

= 3x = 12cms
