Parallelogram is a quadrilateral in which opposite sides are equal and parallel.
And Perimeter of parallelogram is the sum of All sides
Since they are in a ratio ,
3x + 3x + 4x + 4x = 42 ( Perimeter of parallelogram)
14x = 42.
x= 3
The sides are:
3x => 3 x 3 = 9m
4x => 4 x 3 = 12m
3x => 3 x 3 = 9m
4x => 4 x 3 = 12m
Area of Parallelogram = b x h ( base x height )
Area = 3 x 4 = 12m^2
Note: Don’t forget to put units
