Step-by-step explanation:

Let, The two sides of a parallelogram be 4x and 3x.

Given

Perimeter of the parallelogram = 56 cm

Therefore, By the question

2( sum of adjacent sides of the parallelogram) = 56 cm

2(4x+3x) = 56 cm

2× 7x = 56 cm

14x = 56 cm

x = (56/14) cm

= 4 cm

Therefore , First side of the parallelogram = Third side of the parallelogram= 4x= 4×4cm= 16 cm ( Opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal).

Second side of the parallelogram = Fourth side of the parallelogram = 3x = 3×4cm= 12 cm
